Have you ever wondered what's your English level? Could you pass a KET/PET/First exam?
Take the following test and check it out. It consists of 25 multiple-choice questions, and there is no time limit. The answers are available at the end of the test.
By the way, there is also a YLE version for students of primary, so there is no excuse to take your test!

Teatro en inglés "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".
El pasado martes 21 de enero, los alumnos de E.S.O. del colegio tuvieron la oportunidad de ir a presenciar la obra de teatro en inglés "Dr. jekyll and Mr. Hyde", organizada por la compañía Recursos Educativos.
Los alumnos pasaron un buen rato yendo al vecino colegio Mater Immaculata donde se representó la obra, y luego presenciando su puesta en escena. Algunos alumnos entendieron más, otros menos, unos la disfrutaron más, otros un poco menos, pero el objetivo de que los alumnos estuvieran durante más de una hora viendo un espectáculo en inglés y aprendiendo dicho idioma de una manera más lúdica y divertida se cumplió de sobra.
Esperamos repetir el año que viene.

Welcome to the blog. I would love it if you found some of the entries interesting and, hopefully, they might help you improve your English.
To begin with, I wanted to share some links which, in my opinion, are quite useful. I hope you do too.

This is a very good dictionary and it doesn't stop there. Apart from searching for new words, the most outstanding features are located at the end of the meanings/translations of the words.
First, there is a section called "...found in these entries", in which the word searched for appears within a context or expression. And the best feature of the website comes at the end, in the 'Forum discussions with the words (s) "....." in the title' section. This is a forum with questions and answers about the right use of a word, the difference between two words...etc. Everybody can ask questions here and, with a bit of luck, they will be answered by native speakers of English.

The most distinguished feature of this dictionary is that you can not only see the phonemic translation of the word, you can actually hear it (Word Reference only offers this possibility in some words) and you can choose the accent (American or British) you want to hear it in!
Besides, it contains some games like The Hangman...etc on the right-hand side of the site.

This is an excellent website to translate expressions. Normally, dictionaries translate words individually. With Linguee, you can write as many as you want, and you will have tons of different translations that have been used in the past in articles, books...
